Complaints Policy

First, work out whose problem it is

That sounds blunt, but it saves you time, and the honest answer decides who can actually help.

If it's about the contractor's work — the installation, the repair, the quote, the scheduling, how someone behaved on your property — raise it with that contractor first. They did the work. They hold the license and the insurance. They are the only party who can fix it. Most problems end here.

If it's about us — this website, how your information was handled, how you were contacted, or something we published that's wrong — that's ours, and we'll deal with it directly.

Either way, tell us. Even when we can't resolve it ourselves, we want to know when an introduction goes badly. That's information about who we should keep working with, and it's the only feedback loop we have.

How to reach us

Email [info@ductlessminisplitbrockton.com](mailto:info@ductlessminisplitbrockton.com) or call (508) 960-7175.

Include what you can: your name and contact details, roughly when the referral happened, which contractor was involved, what went wrong, and what outcome you're looking for.

What we'll do

Within 3 business days — we acknowledge your message so you know it arrived and isn't sitting unread.

Within 15 business days — we investigate and respond with what we found. If we caused the problem, we say so, tell you what we're changing, and correct anything we published in error. If it concerns contractor work, we tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, and we raise it with that contractor.

If something needs longer than 15 business days, we'll tell you why and give you a revised date rather than going quiet.

If our answer doesn't satisfy you

Reply and say so. A second person will look at it fresh.

You can also go outside this process at any point, and we won't discourage it. Depending on the issue:

  • Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation — consumer disputes.
  • Massachusetts Division of Occupational Licensure — concerns about a licensed contractor's conduct.
  • Your local building department — permitting or code-compliance concerns. In Brockton, Stoughton, Easton and Abington these are separate town offices, and each handles its own inspections.

Using our process first is not a precondition for any of that.
